Frequently asked questions
What kind of music teachers does Auruments look for?
Teachers of any instrument, voice, theory, songwriting or production, at any level, who teach reliably and kindly. Formal qualifications help but aren't required: your profile, intro video and student reviews matter most.
What instruments and subjects can I teach?
Any instrument, voice, music theory, composition, production and exam preparation (for example RCM, ABRSM and Trinity). You can teach online, in person at your own studio, or both.
How do I become a teacher on Auruments?
Create your profile, add your instruments, prices, availability and an intro video, then submit it for review. Once our team approves it, you appear in search and students can book you.
How can I get my profile approved quickly?
Complete every section, use a clear, friendly photo, record a 30 to 90 second intro video, and write a headline that says who you teach best. The teacher handbook walks you through it.
Is it free to create a teacher profile?
Yes. Joining is free. Auruments takes 15% of lesson plans booked through Auruments, from your price. Free trial lessons cost nothing for either side, and you keep 100% of what your own students pay you through the Studio.
